Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The Boys JV Basketball team ran into a buzz saw against the Seeger Patriots in their first game of the tournament. The team had a difficult time scoring against a much bigger, stronger and faster Seeger team eventually losing 64-17. Noah Simmons lead the Mustangs with 7 points. The consolation game was a much different story. In a very evenly matched game the Mustangs came out victorious 35- 32. All players contributed in the the win but freshman Tucker Ashwill led the team with10 points followed by Aiden Blankenship's 7 points. Noah Simmons again comes through with 3 clutch free throws in the closing minute to secure the victory. The JV record stands at 2-3 for the season.
