THIS WEEK IN MUSTANG SPORTS (DEC 22 – JAN 3) • Mustang Girls finish 2nd at the WRC Championships. The Lady Mustang wrestling team had a strong showing at the WRC Championships Thursday at Covington, finishing 2nd overall. Lydia Perkins finished 3rd, while Katelin DePugh, Reese Walters, Jayden Larkin, and Ruby Deal all earned 2nd place finishes. Riley Deal and Amira Welles were WRC Champions! Great job ladies. • BOYS’ WRESTLING UPDATE – Due to the Cl Prairie Tournament getting canceled, the boys wrestling team will compete in the Terre Haute South Invitational on Saturday, Jan 3. Good luck wrestlers! • Santa’s coming! • The Mustangs’ boys basketball game at Riverton Parke will be played on Jan 13. • Before we return from break, the girls wrestling team will compete in the sectional at Crawfordsville. The sectional will be held on Friday, January 2. Our lady wrestlers have had a fantastic season, and we are looking forward to another strong representation in the sectional. • The girls’ basketball game vs Attica has been re-scheduled to Saturday, Jan 10. • The boys’ basketball team will host North Central (Farmersburg) on Saturday, Jan 3, before we return from break. The JV game is scheduled to tip-off at 1pm. • The Swimming & Diving Bi-County Meet is Saturday (Dec 20) at Attica. Events are set to begin at 9am. Good luck FC Swimming and Diving! • The annual boys and girls Bi-County Holiday Tournament will be held at Seeger (Williamsport) Friday night, as girls’ varsity tips at 6pm, followed by boys’ varsity. On Saturday, the consolation and championship games will all be held at Covington, with the girls’ consolation game tipping off at 2:30pm. • FCMustangs.com has a new look.
