Fountain Central Jr/Sr High School

The Mustangs defeated the Attica Ramblers today 30-24 to improve to 3-2 on the season. Fountain Central's offense continued to be cold against a feisty Attica team looking for their first win of the season. The offense was only able to produce 13 points in the first three quarters of the game. Fortunately the defense was up to the challenge and held the Ramblers to 18 points through three quarters. In the fourth quarter the Mustang's offense showed signs of life as they more than doubled their point total from the first three quarters. Gavin McCollum, Eli Foxworthy, and Noah Dodson did most of the damage in the fourth. The defense continued to be a pain for Attica holding them to 6 points. Paul Adams showed leadership and pose in the fourth providing great minutes off the bench. Fountain Central was lead in scoring by Eli Foxworthy with 9, while Ayden Batchelor and Noah Dodson scored 7 each. The Mustangs' next game is home on January 3rd at 2:30 where they will play North Central Farmersburg.
